This is our very first video shot with Ansel Adams’ son Michael at Glacier Point, Yosemite. What an honor to talk with him about about his dad, in the very spot that Ansel is so well known for. “PhotoCycle” was an earlier incarnation of our show and was named by our producer Rocky Barbanica, who I am very fortunate to have worked with, and who got me started with video production. BTW the piano you hear is played by Ansel himself and the video of him is rare, unreleased footage, both graciously loaned to us by the Ansel Adams Gallery.

Many thanks for this great interview. I made my first trip to YNP this October & spent a good part of a day where you were standing. Fell in love with YNP but only had 3 days to spend there. I was “smitten” with Ansel’s work when I was younger and he is one of the reasons I took up photography, many years ago. So great to hear from his son!!
