Thank you for taking the time to reply. I’m really looking forward to this new venture. Oh the subject was my son. I think this is as relaxed as a father and son can be..haha. Thanks again.

you’re on the road to a good image, but need to put your subject at ease a bit more, there’s a reservation or tension present. Have a look at Bambi’s video where she talks about this and keep shooting http://www.silberstudios.tv/videos/bambi-cantrell-beautiful-portraits-tips/

Hi all,
I like this, but it has a lot of mystery in it.
I’m trying to find out where it was taken,(what kind of setting, I mean)… what is in the background, is there water close by… and the most perplexing, is the subject’s expression saying… ”oh, thank you for coming out today,” or ”how many times do I have to tell you not to come here?”
The only clue I got in the picture was that it might not be water or beach, or in the dog days of Summer because the subject is wearing two t-shirts…. I think.
I really like this picture. Excellent capture of your son. To me it looks like a beachy background, and his shirt looks to be the kind with the faux double sleeve. A cute kid nonetheless! =)
