Very nice quality of a picture. However, I would say that the HDR is overdone. Makes me think of a surreal situation.

My wife and I spent the night at the Rust Ridge Winery/Ranch/B&B, located in the Chiles Valley (over the hill from Napa). The mustards were in full bloom and they were spectacular.
Bud, the colors are beautiful, but I wonder what it would be like if your got lower and emphasized the fence, mustard and rows and not heave eye drawn to the hills? Did you have other images of this?
I have other images of the mustard, but not from this angle. (I’ll post them.) I’ll use your suggestion in the future. I really have to get out the habit of just standing and shooting at my normal eye level. Thanks Marc
Bud, yes always good to move around and view from different angles and heights, other than eye level

I created a blog (beta version), displaying my current portraiture work my friends who are serving in various types of military like myself.
Title is called ”friends and soldiers”
